Give Now

CitiHope International seeks to obtain the maximum strategic medical and nutritional resources, at the minimum cost, in the shortest period of time, to give health and hope to the greatest number of people possible. John Wesley, the 18th century Methodist Reformer's compassionate ministry motto is ours: "Raise all you can, Save all you can, Give all you can."

Your gift to CitiHope International makes healthcare available to vulnerable children, families, and individuals around the world. It is a gift of hope reaching people in desperate need.

How Can I Give?

INDIVIDUALS

MONTHLY PLEDGES and/or DESIGNATED GIVING – CitiHope deeply appreciates all contributions from individuals! Regular monthly contributions will help CitiHope maintain and grow our programs around the world. If you wish, you may designate your gift to a specific country where we work or to a specific project. One-time donations can also be made to commemorate an event, or in memory of a loved one. CORPORATIONS

SPONSOR A PROJECT – CitiHope tailors our medical initiatives to the health needs of each country. Often, corporations have the opportunity to sponsor a specific project focused in one country or on one medical condition. In each country, initiatives are developed and coordinated with an established in-country Private Voluntary Organization (PVO) partner. Sponsors will work alongside CitiHope and in-country partners to design and deliver the best initiative possible for the maximum impact in a community. CitiHope maintains continual, direct communication with each country's Ministry of Health and recipient institutions.

TO SPONSOR AN ONGOING OR FUTURE PROJECT, OR WITH QUESTIONS ABOUT PROJECT SPONSORSHIP, PLEASE CONTACT LETTY JOHNSON AT This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

GIFTS-IN-KIND - CitiHope relies on the generous donation of medicines and medical supplies from pharmaceutical manufacturers. We coordinate our distribution in each country with donor pharmaceutical companies' representatives, when and where they exist. Should your pharmaceutical company have an in-country representative, CitiHope will seek to (1) provide the representative with timely and detailed feedback on the use and effects of the product, and (2) help them develop a market through the introduction of these products into hospitals, thereby acquainting doctors and healthcare professionals with product protocols and efficacy.

Please follow the link to our list of Pharmaceuticals and Supplies commonly requested by the countries we serve. CitiHope is compliant with the WHO Guidelines for Drug Donations, and does not accept controlled substances.

Select missions are carried out under the auspices of the US Department of State, which also coordinates and funds shipping from the U.S. to the pre-approved recipient organization in each country.

How Is My Donation Used?

CitiHope values each and every contribution towards ‘making a world of difference for good’ and works hard to multiply each dollar’s value tens of times over. A gift of $40 makes it possible for CitiHope to deliver $1,000 of life-saving medicine, medical supplies, nutritional and developmental resources. Likewise, a gift of $1,000 can be multiplied to $25,000!

With very low overhead and operating costs, CitiHope International utilizes every dollar donated towards our humanitarian relief. Support via direct funding of specific projects, gift-in-kind donations, and monthly/yearly contributions makes it possible for CitiHope to dedicate 99.1% of all resources directly to programs, leaving only .9% for program management and fundraising.

Though CitiHope International does not work for a profit, the costs of relief and development work can be quite high. From high-volume shipment of donated supplies and pharmaceutical distribution monitoring, to physician training seminars and construction projects, to providing indigenous health workers with salaried employment, CitiHope’s hope-filled initiatives rely on the generous donations from those moved to give.

CitiHope seeks to bring healing and hope to the ill and needy in the countries we assist. We are committed to being careful stewards of the funding and products entrusted to us for our missions. For more information, please see The Citihope Advantage.
